This Care Home Open Day, how better to celebrate than nominate your organisation, co-workers or yourself in the 3rd Sector Care Awards 2017. Nominations are now open.
The 3rd Sector Care Awards 2017 recognise innovation and excellence in not-for-profit care and support.
They are open to any third sector organisation, individual or team operating in social care, that is doing something which deserves recognition. There are 12 categories in which you can enter, and you can even nominate yourself.
The categories are:
- Beyond Governance
- Collaboration (integration)
- Community Engagement
- Contribution to Sector Development
- Creative Arts
- End of Life Care
- Innovative Quality Outcomes
- Making a Difference
The standard of entries is always very high, making life difficult for the judges who give up their valuable time and expertise to decide the finalists. This year, we welcome two new judges to the panel: Brenda Murray, Trustee of Carers UK and Dr Richard Adams, Chief Nurse at BUPA.
If you’re interested in entering, there are some key dates of note.
Nominations close on Friday 1st September. Finalists MUST be available to attend the Judging Day in London on Wednesday 1st November to meet the judges and discuss their nomination in more detail. The lucky finalists will then be invited to attend the Awards Ceremony in London on Wednesday 6th December at which the winners will be announced. The Awards host, Esther Rantzen will join us again to ensure that all winners and finalists receive the recognition they deserve.
For those wishing to attend the Awards Ceremony, individual tickets and tables are available.
A range of sponsorship opportunities is also available if you want to support the Awards and put your organisation in front of the leading names in the third sector.
More information on previous finalists and winners can be found on the Awards website.
