Care Management Matters is at the Lancashire Care Conference today and as well as looking forward to hearing about the local landscape of adult social care, we are also thrilled to be announcing an exciting development to our website.
Launching today, the Care Management Matters Wellbeing Area will be dedicated to the mental health and wellbeing of registered managers. The Area will feature blogs from experts in the sector, real-life stories from managers themselves, resources to take away and implement as well as links to useful organisations, support networks and groups.
Although deeply rewarding, we are often told that the role of the registered manager can be an isolated, tiring and lonely one. Care Management Matters hopes that the steady stream of support and coping strategies featured on the Wellbeing Area will help to alleviate this and also protect the mental health of some of the most crucial carers in our sector.
Paul Simic, Chief Executive – Lancashire Care Association who announced the launch of the new Wellbeing Area in his welcome said:
‘Lancashire Care Association is really pleased to be collaborating with CMM on a new Wellbeing Area. It will be an invaluable resource for registered managers and it is much needed in the sector.'
