LEAD INDIVIDUAL – Tina Welford

Tina has significant experience of working in the private and public sector in a variety of roles, operational and strategic director level as Assistant Director of Training and Development and Director of Patient and Nursing Services in a large NHS Trust. Tina was an RCN Nurse Fellowship. Tina is passionate about care and service improvement working in health and social care regulation for over 15 years,  and still a specialist advisor to CQC.  Tina has experience of working with 7 different regulators, maintaining her nursing qualification and her masters level executive leadership and coaching qualification and ISO 9001:2015 certified lead auditor status. Tina acts as an Expert witness for providers at judicial reviews, tribunals or CQC rating reviews.

Tina has support and advises providers and managers that have had a CQC rating of inadequate to improve their services to attain and retain good or even an outstanding rating.

Tina set up her own company- ECLM Ltd Northampton – providing coaching, leadership, management training and development and regulatory compliance. ECLM Ltd has expanded over the past 9 years now a new branch has evolved ECLM Training, providing  training and development to all sectors of healthcare, primary care, social care providers and commissioners. Workshops include safeguarding training and development, mock regulatory (CQC) inspections/compliance audits and business turnaround support are a speciality.  Having worked in these sectors Tina understands the dilemmas and challenges faced by managers and providers,  providing supervision and wide range of support to meet the manager’s needs.

Tina is aware that the safeguarding landscape has never been as complex to navigate as it is now. Through years of inspecting services is on hand to provide relevant, innovative training and consultancy to meet the organisation’s needs from a variety of sectors including education, the voluntary sector, criminal justice, health and care.
