Nominations are closing for the Markel 3rd Sector Care Awards - make sure you enter before it's too late.
The Markel 3rd Sector Care Awards celebrate the great work being done by not-for-profit organisations who are supporting society's most vulnerable people. Anyone can nominate, whether you are a company working with a charitable organisation who you think is doing something exceptional, or whether you want to nominate yourself, your staff, team or manager.
Entry is free for everyone, and involves completing a short series of questions about what the nominee has been doing. Categories include:
A category for anyone using technology to make a difference to people's lives. Have you developed a new website? Are you implementing a piece of software that is helping the people you support or their families? See if the Technology Award might be for you.
Helping people to be a part of their community? Working with someone who aims to achieve this? Nominate in this category today.
Campaigning for Change
Big or small organisation can enter this award. Or just an individual trying to make a difference. If you're working to make change happen, on a local or national level, this category could be for you.
For services and organisations who are working with their local communities. What are you doing that involves the people you support with those outside of the service? Let us know by entering this award.
Other awards up for grabs include Compassion, Contribution to Sector Development, Collaboration and Integration, Dementia Care, and more. See the website for full details.
Nominations are closing for the Markel 3rd Sector Care Awards on Friday 6th September, so get your entries in this week to ensure you are in with a chance of winning.
