Time is ticking away to enter the 3rd Sector Care Awards 2016. Nominations close in two weeks.
Does your organisation excel in compassionate care? Do you use creative arts to engage your clients and have a positive impact on their wellbeing? With 12 categories to choose from, there are plenty of opportunities for not-for-profit organisations to showcase their achievements.
Previous winners have included CLS Care Services Limited, Together for Mental Wellbeing, Greensleeves Homes Trust, Dimensions, Anchor and Cambridgeshire Carers Trust.
Space Centre Preston (Creative Support) won 2015’s Technology Award. Alison Birch, Centre Manager explained what winning meant to them and their organisation. ‘We have always believed that The SPACE Centre is the largest, most versatile multi-sensory centre in the UK, at the forefront of technology, so to receive national recognition for the centre from the 3rd Sector Care Awards has been the icing on the cake! We are passionate about using multi-sensory rooms to their maximum potential to enhance the lives of those with disabilities and the 3rd Sector Care Award has reinvigorated us to continue our work, it’s absolutely lovely to have that recognition.’

You can nominate your organisation, yourself or a colleague. You can even nominate an organisation you work with, that deserves recognition for the great work it does.
Nominations close on Friday 2nd September. Successful candidates will be invited to a Judging Day on Wednesday 2nd November, which every nominee must be available to attend.
The Award ceremony will take place on Wednesday 7th December with Dame Esther Rantzen returning as host. The Awards will also feature more great entertainment to enhance the spirit of the day.
