That is why CMM has set up this new resource page on the CMM website, dedicated to providing the latest information and content concerning the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
From breaking news, newly published guidance and informative blog posts to a monthly column from the regulator, a directory of helpful organisations and advice on preparing for an inspection, this new resource will aim to be a one-stop-shop for care providers’ regulatory requirements.

CMM has a long history of interacting with the regulator on multiple fronts, including a monthly magazine column, regional representation at CMM Insight conferences and several collaborative webinars, all supporting care providers’ knowledge and understanding of the essential role the CQC plays in the sector.
This new dedicated resource page will not only host the regulator’s direct editorial contributions to CMM, but it will also include blogs, features, webinars and news stories from other expert CMM contributors and CMM’s editorial team, all discussing the much-debated topic of the CQC and how to effectively regulate the sector in the current climate.

Amongst other essential topics, CMM’s bi-monthly Resource Finder feature links care providers to sector-leading businesses offering tailored quality and compliance solutions. Quality and compliance are core to the successful running of an organisation. For all care providers, sometimes seeking external help could help to fill in any gaps when it comes to meeting the regulator’s changing requirements.
This new dedicated resource page, which can be filtered by region or postcode to locate helpful organisations all over the country, will supply care providers with a wide range of businesses poised to deliver a suite of services to support regulatory and quality compliance. These include mock inspections and compliance audits, crisis management, registration support, coaching and mentoring, factual accuracy challenges and more.

CMM is thrilled to be partnering with Hempsons to deliver valuable and trusted advice and guidance on this new dedicated CQC resource page. Hempsons’ CQC services include advice on regulatory compliance, guidance on preparing for inspections, support in responding to inspection outcomes and assistance with factual accuracy challenges, ratings reviews and complaints.
Hempsons also provides training on the single assessment framework (SAF) and the fundamental standards of care.
