Andrew Beland
Chief Executive, Choice Support
Andrew became Chief Executive of Choice Support in 2025, bringing over a decade of experience in social care leadership. Formerly Director of Operations at Affinity Trust, he led national services supporting people with learning disabilities and autistic people. His earlier career was in housing and community safety in local government, which gave him a strong foundation in partnership working, systems thinking and strategy development.
Andrew is deeply committed to person-centred support, inclusive practice, and building positive organisational cultures. He believes the best decisions are made with – not for – people, and works to ensure that those drawing on support shape the future of social care.
In addition to his work with Choice Support, Andrew is also a Trustee for Parenting Mental Health, a charity that helps parents who are supporting a child with mental health challenges.
