Christine Bithell has 15 years of experience working in social care and is currently Community Engagement Development Manager at Options for Supported Living. Christine is passionate about Asset Based Community Development and has a natural ability to bring people’s strengths, talents and abilities together. Alongside her work, Christine is also an active member of Liverpool's grassroots art scene and is director of Arena Studios and Gallery.
In 2021, Christine was a founding member of Project Collective, a group of like-minded organisations that work alongside people with learning disabilities to use art to amplify their voices. Project Collective has a legacy of using art to advocate for change and draw attention to flaws within existing institutions and systems. Project Collective’s art explores how changes to these institutions and systems could improve the lives of people with learning disabilities for the better. In 2021, Project Collective were the proud winners of the Markel 3rd Sector Award for Collaboration
